Six miles south of Anacortes, along the northwest side of Highway SR-20. Open to fishing year-round. This trophy fly-fishing only, catch-and-release-only lake has a WDFW access and boat launch (http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/water_access/), but use of motors is prohibited. Fishing opportunities include rainbow (stocked as spring-fry), brown (stocked as fall-fingerlings) and cutthroat trout. A bonus plant of jumbo triploid rainbow trout is also stocked in the spring. Pass is usually excellent in the early-spring and late-fall for fish averaging 15 inches, with some up to 28 inches.
