1. Number of LIP species at risk that will benefit from project 30 points maximum Applicant’s Score
Choose one A 1-2 species 10 points
B 3-4 species 20 points
C >5 species 30 points
2. Project benefits species with federal or state status 30 points maximum Applicant’s Score
Choose one A State or federal candidate, State sensitive, or federal species of concern 5 points
B State or federal threatened 15 points
C State or federal endangered 30 points
3. Significance to overall objective/Likelihood of success/short vs. longterm benefits (overall measure of science behind project to be determined by internal WDFW science review panel) 60 points maximum Applicant’s Score

4. Perpetual Easement or Duration of LIP agreement 10 points maximum Applicant’s Score

B Project is identified as a high priority in a site specific planning document or research paper, such as habitat limiting factors analysis, lead entity salmon recovery strategy, ecoregional planning and/or a species recovery plan 10 points
7. Proximity to protected habitat 15 points maximum Applicant’s Score

B Project is within a mile of an area protected in perpetuity for fish/wildlife 5 points
C Project is adjacent to functional habitat or an area recently restored 10 points
