How can I propose changes to current hunting equipment restrictions?
See WDFW's “Rule Information Center” website. WDFW offers several formal and informal ways to provide input or to communicate on proposed rules. Input is accepted by WDFW throughout the rule-making process and during the actual rule-making public hearing conducted by the Fish and Wildlife Commission.
In addition, WDFW embarks on a major hunting rule making process every three years. There is an extensive public involvement process invoked at that time and public comment regarding rule changes are encouraged. The best way to monitor this process is through the hunting section of the WDFW web site.
