How can I find accurate maps to help locate game management unit (GMU) boundaries on the ground?

There are several sources available that offer detailed maps of Game Management Unit boundaries in Washington State.

The first place you can check is the GoHunt mapping tool, which is available on the WDFW website at http://apps.wdfw.wa.gov/gohunt/. You can even search by species to help you narrow your choices.

You can also get detailed maps of individual GMUs through the GMU search tool on the WDFW website at http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/gmu/. Search by GMU, then click the "Map of GMU" link for a PDF document.

Finally, you can check the most recent Big Game Hunting Seasons & Regulations pamphlet, available on the WDFW website at http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/regulations/. A GMU map can be found in the pamphlet.

If you need additional map information, check the "Where to Get Maps" section of the Big Game Hunting pamphlet.
