What are the rules for multiple-season permit holders?

A multiple season permit can only be used during general seasons and in Game Management Units (GMUs) that are open during a modern firearm, muzzleloader, and archery general season.*  In other words, a multiple season permit holder may not hunt during the muzzleloader general season in a GMU that is not open for the muzzleloader general season.

If you are selected for a multiple season permit, you must use the legal weapon that is appropriate for the general season you are hunting.  You must use legal archery equipment during the archery general seasons, legal muzzleloader or archery equipment during the muzzleloader general seasons, and any legal weapon during the modern firearm general seasons.

*Special Note:  A multiple season permit holder that has also been selected for a special hunt may use his/her multiple season tag on an animal legally harvested under his/her special hunt permit.
