You are able to participate in each Special Permit hunt as well as the available general season, but you must stop hunting once you reach your bag limit. Drawing more than one Special Permit for the same species does not increase your bag limit (except Second Deer, see below).
Your points in each of those Special Permit categories will go to zero as well. So although you increase your odds of being drawn by applying for multiple categories for the same species, you also run the risk of losing the points you built up in each of those categories.
If you are interested in increasing your bag limit for deer, a Second Deer Special Permit category is available. Please keep in mind that the cost for a Second Deer license and tag is more expensive than your general season deer license and tag.
