Do NOT double report your hunting activity or harvest.
For example, your Deer Special Permit overlaps the general season dates for the same Game Management Unit (GMU). You only hunt deer in that GMU during those dates. You end up harvesting a deer. In this case, report all your hunting activity for the report that matches your harvest. Then, report that you did not hunt for the other report.
So, if you harvest under general season rules, report the harvest and hunting activity under the general season report. Then report that you did not hunt for your Special Permit report.
Another example, this time your Elk Special Permit overlaps the general season. You only hunt elk in that GMU, but you do not harvest. You continue hunting a late general season elk hunt. Unfortunately, you did not harvest an elk this season. In this case, report all your hunting activity under the general season report. Then, report that you did not hunt for the Special Permit report.
