How do I reserve a hunt with the Hunt by Reservation system?

The Hunt by Reservation system can be found here: http://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/hunting_access/private_lands/type/56/.

Once there, follow these steps to reserve a hunt:

1. Click on the button that says “Login or Register Now!”
2. Login to your account, using your WILD ID and the password you created.
3. Once logged in, click on the green link that says “Find Hunts to Reserve.”
4. Find the hunt you want. You can search by County, Hunt Type, or GMU.
  a. A green star next to a hunt indicates that reservation hunts are currently listed.
5. Click on the hunt you want.
6. This takes you to a page that provides information about the hunt, as well as a map of the area on the bottom.
7. On the right hand side of the page, available hunts will be listed.
8. Below the hunts should be the dates allowed, as well as a button that says “Hunt Details.” Directly below the “Hunt Details” button should be a message, either in red or green text.
  a. The green “Hunts Available” means there are hunts you can reserve right away.
  b. The red “No Hunt Dates Available” means all reservations for that hunt have been taken.
  c. The red “Reservations begin…” means that you cannot reserve that hunt date until 8 a.m. on the day listed. The day listed is two weeks before the hunt date.
9. If the hunt is available, click on the “Hunt Details” button of the dates you want to reserve.
10. You will see the details of the hunt, including the number of people who can go along. If this is the hunt you want, you will need to agree to the terms and conditions and click on the “Reserve Hunt Date” link.
11. You will be taken to your “Active Reservations” page. From here you can:
  a. View/Edit your reservation. This includes adding additional group members (they MUST be registered in the Hunt by Reservation system) and non-hunting companions (they do not need to be registered in the Hunt by Reservation system). Not every hunt will offer these options.
  b. Print your permit. Place the printed permit in plain view on your vehicle’s dashboard.
