Can an individual legally harvest a cow moose and still apply for permit-controlled moose hunts in future years?
An individual may harvest a moose under the Any Moose tag only once in his or her lifetime. Hunters who harvest under the Any Moose tag may still apply under the Antlerless, Youth, Over 65, or Disabled special hunt categories, as long as he or she qualifies to apply for that category.
This restriction is waived for hunters who win a raffle or auction hunt for moose.
