- NOTICE TO FORMER ADVANCED HUNTER EDUCATION (AHE) MEMBERS
Amendments
to WAC 232-12-073 made in January 2008 by the Washington Fish and Wildlife
Commission effectively replaced the former AHE program
with the new Master Hunter program. Former AHE members were required
to complete, sign, and submit two documents by February 29, 2008,
in order to retain certification and be transitioned into the new Master
Hunter program. AHE members who did not do so, or who subsequently
failed to meet criteria for mandatory Criminal Background Checks
are
not eligible to apply for special permit controlled Master Hunter
hunts or to participate in Master Hunter hunts.
