No one may possess an open WDFW bobcat seal unless it has been cut by a licensed taxidermist or fur dealer who has received and invoiced the pelt for processing.

* To improve management of certain limited migratory bird species, a Migratory Bird Authorization and Harvest Card(s) are required for hunting.

You must fill out the required harvest record information in ink immediately after taking into possession a band-tailed pigeon, brant, sea duck (scoters, long-tailed duck, harlequin, goldeneyes) in western Washington, or snow goose (Goose Management Area 1).

You must report hunting activity on your harvest record cards to WDFW using the online reporting system at fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/wa/migratorybird or by mailing the cards to: WDFW, Waterfowl Section, 600 Capitol Way N, Olympia, WA 98501.

Reports need to be postmarked by the reporting deadlines even if you did not harvest any birds.

You must comply with these reporting requirements or you will be required to pay a $10 administrative fee before obtaining a harvest record card next year.

Season limit: 1 dusky Canada goose. A dusky Canada goose is defined as a dark breasted (Munsell 10 YR, 5 or less) Canada goose with a culmen (bill) length of 40-50 mm.
