Big Ditch Water Access Site remains closed for tide gate replacement
The Big Ditch Water Access Site on Skagit Bay in northwest Snohomish County will be closed for the opening day of general waterfowl season.  The closure will continue through October 20, 2017, to allow completion of critical infrastructure maintenance by Skagit County Dike and Drainage District #17.  The purchase of the site in 1966 by WDFW reserved the district's right to perform infrastructure work at any time necessary.  The district commissioners have been coordinating with WDFW to open the site as quickly as possible.   More info...
