Asotin Wildlife Area
Weatherly Unit
The Weatherly unit is approximately 3,400 acres straddling the Asotin-Garfield county line, due west of the Asotin Creek unit. It provides winter range for elk and other wildlife habitat.

    Driving Directions
    Fitzgerald Road: From Pomeroy, follow Peola Road south for approximately 10 miles. At the intersection of Peola Road and Mountain Road, turn left and drive towards the East on Peola Road. Follow the road down and up a grade until reaching an intesection with a paved road. Turn right on paved road and stay on pavement until intersection with Fitzgerald Road. Turn Left on Fitzgerald road and drive East for approximately 3 miles to parking area located along road in elk fence.
    Parking/Restroom Information
    Parking area is large enough for 4 to 5 vehicles and no restroom facilities are available.
    Other Information
    Fitzgerald road is closed during winter months.
    Other Information
    Elk fence runs along the north border of this area. Keep access gates closed.
