Chelan Butte Unit
The Chelan Butte Unit includes 9,097 acres of land located between Lake Chelan and the Columbia River. Bighorn sheep released in 2004 are now well established on the area and can be seen regularly. Upland game birds using the area include chukar, grey partridge, blue grouse and California quail. Many miles of roads are closed to motorized vehicles offer good hiking and mountain biking, skiing and snowshoeing opportunities.
