L.T. Murray Wildlife AreaThe L.T. Murray Wildlife Area covers 106,400 acres in four units that lie both west and east of Ellensburg in Kittitas County. All units except for the Yakima River unit have a checkerboard ownership pattern with DNR.

    Roads closed to protect wintering wildlife on Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) wildlife areas in the south central region will re-open May 1 at 6 a.m. or as otherwise posted. See more information.
