Specialized Licenses

FUR DEALER LICENSE
Required for persons who purchase, receive or resell raw furs for profit in Washington State.
Licensed Fur Dealers are required to maintain records of all furs handled and allow inspection of both records and premises by WDFW Enforcement.

GAME FARM LICENSE
R
equired for persons who possess, propagate, sell and transfer wildlife (mainly upland gamebirds and waterfowl) as allowed by Washington State Law. This program is administered by the WDFW Wildlife Program. Licensees are required to provide an annual report of activity, maintain veterinary-certified premises and allow department inspection of facilities and records.

TAXIDERMIST LICENSE
Required for persons who practice taxidermy for profit in Washington State.
Licensed Taxidermists are required to maintain records of all animals handled and allow inspection of records and premises by WDFW Enforcement.

4 (Option #4)

TRAPPING LICENSE
Required for all trappers, including nuisance wildlife trappers.
Before a Trapper's License is issued, applicants must have passed the Washington Trapper's Education Program administered by the WDFW Hunter Education Program. Before a Trapper's License is renewed a Trapper's Report of Catch must be provided to WDFW indicating the applicant's previous trapping activity.
