DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT
RECEIVED A CALL FROM TAMMY THE RP, REF AT ABOUT 2230 HRS LAST NIGHT SHE HEARD HER PYGMY BILLY GOAT SCREAMING. WHEN THE RP WENT OUT WITH HER FLASH LIGHT THE GOAT CONTINUED TO SCREAM AND SHE SAW TWO EYES PEERING AT HER FROM ACROSS THE CREEK ON HER PROPERTY. THE GOAT HAD BEEN CABLED AND WHATEVER (THE RP BELIEVES A COUGAR) GOT IT DRUG IT ACROSS THE CREEK AS THE GOAT WAS AFRAID TO CROSS THE WATER. SHE SHOT IN THE AREA TO SCARE WHATEVER HAD IT AND IT EVENTUALLY LET GO AND WALKED SLOWLY DOWN THE CREEK. THE GOAT WAS DEAD. INJURIES ARE TO ITS UNDERSIDE. THE RP LEFT THE GOAT THERE AND WANTS TO KNOW IF WE WANT TO USE IT FOR BAIT ETC. THE RP HAS HORSE(S), WHICH WAS GOING CRAZY AT THE TIME, CHICKENS AND RABBITS. EVIDENCE INDICATED THAT THIS WAS A CAT KILL. TWO OFFICERS SET THE BOX TRAP. THE FOLLOWING DAY WE REMOVED AND RELEASED A FEMALE. THE TRAIL CAMERA WE SET UP SHOWED A SECOND CAT ON THE GOAT KILL. THE FOLLOWING DAY WE REMOVED AND RELEASED THAT CAT WHERE WE HAD PUT THE FIRST CAT. THE SECOND CAT WAS A MALE. TWO OFFICERS HAD THE THE RP REMOVE THE GOAT BUT LEFT THE CAMERA IN ORDER TO VERIFY THAT THERE IS NOT A THIRD CAT IN THE AREA.
