DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT
REPORTING PARTY CALLED IN REGARDING A POSSIBLE GRAY WOLF SIGHTING. HER DOG WAS RESTING ON A DOCK AND THE WOLF GOT TO WITHIN 60 FEET OF IT AND WAS WATCHING THE DOG. SHE YELLED AT THE WOLF AND CALLED TO HER DOG. THE WOLF RETREATED INTO THE NEARBY WOODS. THE DOG HAD BEEN UNAWARE OF THE WOLF SO NO ACTUAL CONTACT OR INTERACTION OCCURRED BETWEEN THE WOLF AND DOG. SHE WANTED TO KNOW WHAT HER RIGHTS WERE IN REGARDS TO PROTECTING HER DOG.
