Dangerous Wildlife Incident Reports

SPECIES
Cougar

DESCRIPTION OF INCIDENT
THE RP REPORTED THAT FIVE OF HIS PIGS WERE KILLED SOMETIME BETWEEN THE TIMES LISTED. HE BELIEVES IT WAS A COUGAR RATHER THAN DOGS OR COYOTES BECAUSE THEY WERE ATTACKED AND EATEN IN THE NECK AND SHOULDER REGION RATHER THAN THE RUMP. THE RP REPORTS THAT THERE ARE SOME TRACKS, BUT THEY ARE NOT VERY DISCERNABLE. THE PIGS WERE ALREADY TAKEN BY THE BUTCHER. AT THIS TIME THE REPORT IS UNCONFIRMED. I ADVISED THE RP TO CALL IF HE LOSES ANY OTHER ANIMALS OR IF THERE IS ANYTHING OF EVIDENTIARY VALUE THAT CAN BE DOCUMENTED.
