The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will hold a Trapper Education class at the Spokane regional office, N. 8702 Division St., at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17.

All first-time trappers in Washington are required by state law to successfully complete the class before purchasing a trapping license. The free class covers all the rules and regulations of trapping, as well as safe and humane methods. There are no age limits on attendees, but pre-registration is required and can be made by calling WDFW's Spokane office at 509-456-4082.
