Spring chinook fishing prospects to be presented at Vancouver meeting

VANCOUVER -- Department of Fish and Wildlife biologists will present 1997 spring chinook salmon run and fishing forecasts for the Cowlitz, Kalama, Lewis, Willamette rivers and for the Columbia River upstream of the Bonneville Dam at a public meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Jan. 21.

The informational meeting will be held at the Water Resource Education Center, 4600 SE Columbia Way in Vancouver.

Information about recreational and commercial fishing opportunities will be presented. Departmental biologists also will answer questions.
