WDFW offices in Natural Resources Building to reopen Monday, March 5, 2001

Olympia -- Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) offices located in the Natural Resources Building here will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, March 5.

The building, closed following Wednesday's earthquake, has been thoroughly inspected and found to be structurally sound and safe.

Maintenance crews worked Friday to insure hallways and other common areas were free of debris, and that furniture and other items displaced by the earthquake posed no risk to returning employees.

Department laboratories were also inspected to insure chemicals and other potentially hazardous materials posed no risk.
