OLYMPIA -- The news release issued March 6 on the opening of the razor clam season did not describe the closed beaches properly.

It said, "The beaches from the Copalis River north to the Moclips River will remain closed."

It should read, "The beaches from the north jetty at the mouth of Grays Harbor, north to the Moclips River will remain closed. The closed area includes the beaches at Ocean Shores, Ocean City, Copalis and Pacific Beach."
