Grays Harbor and Willapa Bay fishing meeting set for March 15

MONTESANO—The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife will provide information and take public comment about sport and commercial salmon fishing opportunities in Grays Harbor and Willapa Bay this year at a meeting scheduled for March 15.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Commons Room at Montesano High School, 302 N. Church St., Montesano.

WDFW biologists will provide information about salmon run size predictions and other fish management issues.

The meeting is an opportunity to exchange information. No salmon season decisions will be made but public comments will be included as an official part of the pre-season planning record. Final salmon fishing seasons will be announced on April 9.
