Hood Canal Recreational Shrimp Fishery Public Meetings For The 1999 Season

The 1999 Hood Canal recreational shrimp season is closed. The 1999 season is scheduled to open May 15.

The public meetings to discuss the 1999 Hood Canal recreational shrimp fishery are scheduled for:

  • April 12, 7 p.m., at the Shelton High School auditorium, 3737 North Shelton Spring Road.
  • April 13, 7 p.m., at the Shoreline Community College canteen, 16101 Greenwood Ave. North, Seattle.
  • April 14, 7 p.m., at Chimacum High School auditorium, 91 West Valley Road in Chimacum.
  • April 15, 7 p.m., at Central Kitsap High School auditorium, 3700 N.W. Anderson Hill Road, Silverdale.

At these meetings biologists will discuss test fishery results, review the 1998 fishery, and present for discussion the proposed recreational season for 1999.
