Commissions to discuss Wild Salmonid Policy on Oct. 8

OLYMPIA -- The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission will meet with western Washington treaty tribal leaders Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission at 6 p.m. Oct. 8 to continue discussing development of a joint state-tribal Wild Salmonid Policy.

The meeting will take place at the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission's meeting center at 6730 Martin Way E. in Olympia.

Representatives of the tribes and state also will meet from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 6 in room 175 B of the Natural Resources Building at 1111 Washington St. SE, Olympia. The Oct. 6 meeting also will focus on the development of a tribal-state Wild Salmonid Policy.
