Meeting place for state-tribal salmon talks changed

OLYMPIA -- The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission and western Washington treaty tribes will meet at 6 p.m. tomorrow (Oct. 8) in Salons H and I at the Seattle Marriott Sea-Tac Airport to discuss development of a joint Wild Salmonid Policy.

The meeting location is new. It had been scheduled to take place at the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission headquarters in Olympia.

The Seattle Marriott is located at 32301 S. 176th St. in Sea-Tac.

Tribal and Department of Fish and Wildlife planners are scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. at the Marriott.

The meetings are open but there will be no opportunities for public comment.
