Additional razor clam digging dates announced
OLYMPIA -- The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will open
the Long Beach Peninsula beaches for three days of razor clam digging in February
and two days in March.
Digging will be allowed on p.m. tides only. The dates and low tide times are:

In addition, three beaches will be open for razor clam digging in late March and
early April. The beaches are: Twin Harbors (Westport, Grayland, North Cove);
Mocrocks (the beach from the Copalis River north to the Quinault Indian Reservation's
southern boundary, including Iron Springs, Roosevelt, Pacific and Moclips beaches)
and Kalaloch between the South Beach campground and Brown's Point (just south of
beach trail #3), a beach co-managed by Olympic National Park. Digging will be
allowed on a.m. tides only. The dates and low tide times are:

Residents of Washington, ages 15 to 69, must have a 1998 Shellfish/Seaweed
license to harvest razor clams. Residents over 70 must have a Senior License.
The daily limit is the first 15 clams dug regardless of size or condition.
