Meeting set on Discovery Bay shellfish
OLYMPIA – A public meeting to discuss recreational shrimp and crab fisheries in Discovery Bay has been scheduled for March 5, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) announced today.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m., at the Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Rd., Gardiner.
WDFW biologists will review the 2000 recreational shrimp fisheries, provide information about 2001 shrimp fishing opportunities and seek public comment on both the crab and shrimp fisheries in the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
