Environmental worshop offered to educators
OLYMPIA -- Teachers and youth-group leaders can pick up environmental
education ideas at an Aug. 19 workshop offered by the Washington Department of Fish
and Wildlife and Northwest Trek Wildlife Park.
The session will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Northwest Trek near Eatonville.
The $25 fee includes a copy of a Project WILD activity guide, Northwest Trek entrance
fee and tram ride. The Project WILD guide offers ideas for integrating environmental
education featuring fish and wildlife information into all school subject areas.
