North fork of Nemah River opens for salmon fishing
OLYMPIA -- The north fork of Pacific County's Nemah River is now open to salmon fishing from 100 feet above the hatchery barrier, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife announced today.
That section of the river will remain open through Oct. 31.
The limit is six salmon, of which two may be adults.
Anglers should note the section of river is closed to night fishing and non-buoyant lures are restricted.
