OLYMPIA - The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is seeking public comment on a recently drafted document intended to offer guidance for those developing salmon recovery plans or strategies.
The Salmon Recovery Plan Guidance Document can be viewed on the WDFW website.
The document is intended to offer a framework to help those working on salmon recovery predict the outcomes associated with various actions.
Written comments on the document should be submitted by 5 p.m., Nov. 7, to Jerry Alb, Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, 600 Capitol Way N., Olympia, WA 98501-1091, or may be emailed to albjwa@dfw.wa.gov.
Comments will be considered in development of a final version of the document, which is scheduled to be released Nov. 21.
