Fish and Wildlife Commission to consider
supplemental budget and legislative requests
The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission will consider approval of the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s (WDFW) 2006 legislative and supplemental budget proposals in a meeting Friday, (Sept. 16).
The commission meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. in Room 172 of the Natural Resources Building, 1111 Washington St. SE., in Olympia.
The Commission will review and consider approval of WDFW’s proposed agency request legislation and WDFW’s supplemental operating and capital budget requests for the 2006 legislative session. Public comment will be taken on both items.
The Commission is a nine-member citizen panel that establishes policy for WDFW. Additional information on the commission is available at http://wdfw.wa.gov/com/comintro.htm on the WDFW website.
