How
does the zoom toolbar work?
The 'Zoom
Toolbar' is the set of blue push buttons and two
magnifying classes on the right side of the browser
window. The orange button indicates the current scale
range.
The
magnifying glasses provide incremental zoom in/zoom
out. The blue buttons provide zooming to a predefined
display area or scale. In some browsers, a ‘map
tip’ describing
the display area set up by the tool is visible when you
pause the cursor over it.

Clicking a scale button will redarw the map to the selected
scale maintaining the map's center.
Clicking on the magnifying glasses will move the selected
scale up or down the zoom toolbar. Once the top or bottom
of the zoom toolbar is reached, clicking the magnifying
glasses will continue to zoom the map in or out by five
percent.
