The biologists were helpful and responsive to citizens' concerns and questions and that meant a lot to those trying to advocate on the heron's behalf. The citizens had to stand up against big developers, big money and wheels in motion to protect this little rookery from becoming an eliminated downtown wonder. Thank you to you and your staff.
