Subject: Dennis Austin

Jeff, wanted to let you know that Dennis Austin was very helpful working with the State of Alaska in the Council process for development of a crab rationalization program for the Bering Sea and the Aleutian Islands. The subject is not without controversy, but in the long run this program will provide significant benefits for harvesters, processors, and communities. I also talked with Ed Billingsley in the Governor Locke's office to convey my appreciation. Hope all is well in Olympia. By all accounts, you are doing well.
