From: Ty C. Youngren To: director@dfw.wa.gov Date: 9/22/2002 12:46 AM To whom it may concern, I have been fishing the State of Washington as long as I have been able to hold a pole. I am 32 years of age. I cannot recall in the past 20 years having the plethora of fish we've had in the last 2 years. I think you all are doing a great job. I just want to note that bottomfishing has been exceptionally good. I have been limiting on many varieties of fish including catching a state record cabezon (that I didn't figure out until it was too late - 24 lbs.). Anyway, the bottomfish population is alive and thriving. Keep up the good work. It has been a great summer of fishing. |
