Final 2009-2015 Game Management Plan and Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement available now.
This plan will guide the Department's management of hunted wildlife for 2009-2015. The focus of the plan is on the scientific management of game populations, harvest management, and other significant factors affecting game populations. Washington's citizens played a strong role in revising this plan and a variety of public involvement opportunities have been and will be used to solicit ideas.

The Rocky Spencer Memorial Scholarship was founded to honor the memory of the late Rocky Spencer. Rocky’s career as the large carnivore specialist for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife came to a tragic end in a helicopter accident on September 8, 2007 while relocating bighorn sheep in the Yakima Canyon.
