Washington State Migratory Bird Stamp and Artwork Program
Nest / Brood Plots

The Washington Migratory Bird Stamp Program has been active in restoring wetlands and enhancing upland habitat on public and private lands in Spokane, Douglas, Lincoln, and Whitman counties since 1987, affecting over 1,300 acres through construction of fencing and water control structures to enhance breeding habitat for dabbling ducks. These have been cooperative projects with other state and federal agencies, private landowners, Ducks Unlimited, and the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council.
