Washington State Migratory Bird Stamp and Artwork Program
Shillapoo / Vancouver Lake Wildlife Area Migratory Bird Stamp Projects

The Washington Migratory Bird Stamp Program has been active in enhancing wetlands and upland habitat at the Shillapoo / Vancouver Lake Wildlife Area since 1995, affecting over 450 acres important to seven Canada goose subspecies, sandhill cranes, and dabbling ducks. Most recent efforts have included cooperative projects coordinated and partially funded by Ducks Unlimited, Inc. to restore freshwater wetlands in the lower Columbia River ecoregion. Funding has also been received from a variety of partners, including the Pacific Coast Joint Venture, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, North American Wetlands Conservation Council, Clark County, and private donations.
