Washington State Migratory Bird Stamp and Artwork Program
Sunnyside Wildlife Area Migratory Bird Stamp Projects


The Washington Migratory Bird Stamp Program has been active in enhancing wetlands and upland habitat at the Sunnyside Wildlife Area since 1987, affecting over 465 acres. Most recent projects have included extensive floodplain restoration in conjunction with a variety of partners, including the Intermountain West Joint Venture, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, North American Wetlands Conservation Council, Ducks Unlimited, Yakama Tribe, and private donations. These projects have involved water control improvements and water delivery enhancements.
