Annual hunting prospects give hunters a detailed look at expected conditions, harvest trends, and game activity in each of the state’s 17 wildlife management districts.

With hunting seasons underway, be aware of new rules pertaining to chronic wasting disease (CWD) to help you plan your hunt. 

An outbreak of deer epizootic hemorrhagic disease (EHD)/Bluetongue is affecting deer in several Eastern Region counties. 

WDFW, Yakama Nation Fisheries, and other partners are partnering on a project to remove water stargrass in the lower Yakima River to improve fish passage, spawning habitat, water quality, and water movement.
