Ward Lake water access site
scheduled to close for renovations

OLYMPIA – The Ward Lake water access site, located in Thurston County and owned by the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), will be closed May 21-24 and June 4-5 for renovations.

During the closure, a WDFW crew will install a new vault toilet and pave the parking area. Updates on the closure will be provided on the WDFW website at https://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/water_access/30590/.

During the closure, boaters can launch at other local WDFW access sites, including Munn Lake, Chambers Lake, and Black Lake.

The Ward Lake access is located in southeastern Olympia near the Yelm Highway and Boulevard Road.
