The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) public boat launch and parking area at Pearrygin Lake near Winthrop will be closed June 17 through 19 for maintenance work. Crews will be removing hazardous trees from around the parking area and restroom facilities. Signs will be posted to notify the public of the closure. If the work is completed early, the access will reopen early.

Those wishing to use the Pearrygin Lake for boating and other recreation activities can use facilities at the adjacent Pearrygin Lake State Park. A Discover Pass is required to enter the park.

WDFW is the state agency tasked with preserving, protecting and perpetuating fish, wildlife and ecosystems, while providing sustainable fishing, hunting and other outdoor recreation opportunities.
