OLYMPIA – The Salmon Hatchery boat launch located in Clallam County at the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife’s (WDFW) Sol Duc hatchery, will be closed May 20-23 and May 28-31 for site renovations. The boat launch will be open May 24-27 for Memorial Day weekend.

During the closure, WDFW will install a new accessible boarding platform and vault toilet, and will pave the parking area. Updates on the closure will be available online

During the closure, boaters can launch at other WDFW water access sites in the area, including Bear Creek, Maxfield Road, and Whitcomb-Dimmel.
