For the remainder of the week beginning Sunday September 10 all areas are closed except as follows:

Area 7 (San Juan Islands) will be open to:
Reef Nets: 5 AM to 9 PM Daily Thursday, September 14 to Saturday, September 16. Must release all chum, sockeye, and unmarked Chinook. Immediate possession of a WDFW Logbook is required to retain marked Chinook.


Areas 7B (Bellingham Bay):
Gillnets using 5-inch minimum mesh size: Open 24 hours per day from 7 AM Sunday September 10 to 7 AM Friday September 15. Retention of Sockeye is prohibited.
Purse seines with a 5 inch strip: 7 AM to 7 PM Monday September 11, Wednesday September 13, Friday September 15. Brailing is required, and purse seines must release all sockeye.


7C (Samish Bay) will be open to: 
Gillnets using 7-inch minimum mesh size Open 24 hours per day from 7 AM Sunday September 10 to 7 AM Friday September 15. Retention of Sockeye is prohibited.
Purse seines with a 5 inch strip: 7 AM to 7 PM Monday September 11, Wednesday September 13, Friday September 15. Brailing is required, and purse seines must release all sockeye.


Area 9A (Port Gamble Bay) will be open to:
Skiff gillnets with nets not to exceed 600 feet in length and 60 meshes in depth using 5-inch minimum mesh, is open continuously through 7 PM Saturday, November 4.
All Chinook and chum must be released by cutting the ensnaring mesh.


Area 12A (Quilcene Bay) will be open to:
Beach seines: 7AM to 7PM daily Monday September 11 to Friday September 15. 
Beach seines may only retain coho and nets may not to exceed 990 feet in length and 200 meshes in depth using minimum 3-inch and maximum 4-inch mesh.
