For the week beginning Sunday September 17 all areas are closed except as follows:


Area 6D (Dungeness Bay) will be open to:
Gillnets using 5-inch minimum mesh size : Open 7 AM to 7PM daily Thursday September 21 and Friday September 22. All Chinook and chum must be released by cutting the ensnaring mesh. 


Area 7 (San Juan Islands) will be open to:
Reef Nets: 5 AM to 9 PM Daily Sunday, September 17 to Saturday, September 23. Must release all chum, sockeye, and unmarked Chinook. Immediate possession of a WDFW Logbook is required to retain marked Chinook.


Area 7B (Bellingham Bay):
Gillnets using 5-inch minimum mesh size: Open 24 hours per day from 7 AM Sunday September 17 to 7 AM Friday September 22. Retention of Sockeye is prohibited.
Purse seines with a 5 inch strip: 7 AM to 7 PM Monday September 18, Wednesday September 20, Friday September 22. Brailing is required, and purse seines must release all sockeye.


7C (Samish Bay) will be open to: 
Gillnets using 7-inch minimum mesh size Open 24 hours per day from 7 AM Sunday September 17 to 7 AM Friday September 22. Retention of Sockeye is prohibited.
Purse seines with a 5 inch strip: 7 AM to 7 PM Monday September 18, Wednesday September 20, Friday September 22. Brailing is required, and purse seines must release all sockeye.


Area 8D (Tulalip Bay) will be open west of a line from Mission Point to Hermosa Point to :
Gillnets using 5-inch minimum mesh size : Open 6 PM Sunday September 17 to 8 AM Monday September 18. 6 PM Monday September 18 to 8 AM Thursday September 21. 6 PM Thursday September 21 to 8 AM Friday September 22. 
All sockeye must be released by cutting the ensnaring mesh.


Area 9A (Port Gamble Bay) will be open to:
Skiff gillnets with nets not to exceed 600 feet in length and 60 meshes in depth using 5-inch minimum mesh, is open continuously through 7 PM Saturday, November 4.
All Chinook and chum must be released by cutting the ensnaring mesh.


Area 12A (Quilcene Bay) will be open to:
Beach seines: 7AM to 7PM daily Monday September 18 to Friday September 22. 
Beach seines may only retain coho and nets may not to exceed 990 feet in length and 200 meshes in depth using minimum 3-inch and maximum 4-inch mesh.
