Help us spread the word about not spreading invasive species, have your child enter WDFW's and the Washington Invasive Species Council's invasive species art contest.

Included are special rules allowing fishing from a floating device on two sections of the Hoh River during certain days of the week to help determine impacts to wild steelhead. 

Deer are less wary during their breeding season, and many are migrating from high country to lower elevations where they spend the winter. Drivers should be extra vigilant to protect themselves and deer.

The theme of this year's contest is "Live big game animal."
