Join the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) for a virtual public meeting on April 1, from 6-8 p.m., to discuss potential harvest management strategies for Lower Columbia River tributary fisheries. This meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the evaluation process and ask questions.
For additional information, review our recent blog post outlining the Management Strategy evaluation process.
The meeting will be recorded and available for later viewing on WDFW's YouTube channel. After the meeting, WDFW will release a survey that seeks to understand how individuals feel about balancing increased fishing opportunities with conservation goals, as well as how these preferences vary across different communities.
Meeting materials will be posted to this event webpage as soon as they are available.
