Regulations - Marine Area 2.1

June 24 - July 31, 2023:  Open concurrent with the Ocean Area 2 rules for Salmon.  Area 2 rules apply. 

  • June 24 - July 31:  Willapa Bay Control Zone Open

August 1, 2023 – January 31, 2024: 

  • Minimum size 12"
  • Daily limit 6
  • Up to 2 adults may be retained. 
  • Release wild CHINOOK 
  • Anglers may fish with two poles with Two-Pole Endorsement
  • August 1 – September 30:  Willapa Bay Control Zone OPEN
  • August 1 – September 30:  North River Area Closure -
    Closed to salmon angling in waters north of a line from Toke Point channel marker 3 easterly through Willapa Harbor channel marker 13 (green) northeasterly to the power transmission pole located at 46° 43.19N, 123° 50.83W
